A-BO Announces Arrival with Fresh Gwen Stefani Remix, “HELLA GOOD” [Listen]
Few things signal Summer more so than the roll out of banging new music. It’s a time where people are ready to get out, enjoy the weather and dance to their favorite new tunes. Inserting his submission for hot new summer banger is California house act A-BO, who dropped his remix of Gwen Stefani’s “HELLA GOOD” earlier this week.
A-BO—real name Aaron Bonnema—was born in 1997 in California, and has spent the majority of his life in Anaheim and Lake Forest. In second grade, Aaron got his first camera and by fifth grade he was editing his own videos. Naturally a computer savvy person, it was only a matter of time before Aaron found music production. He began focusing on producing in early 2017 under the alias BONNEMA and secured releases on labels such as Deadbeats and Jadū Dala. Near the end of 2018, Aaron began experimenting with a new house sound and years later “BONNEMA” has evolved into “A-BO”.
Having been in the works for years, the A-BO project is ready to start a consistent roll out of bangers this Summer. The producer plans to follow up by releasing a new remix every three weeks, as well as a “A-BO Lookbook” mixes every month. This week’s “HELLA GOOD” remix chops Stefani’s vocals and provides a thumping backbeat; displaying the palpably fun vibes this project plans to entail.
A-BO is excited to flesh out this new house side, but plans to maintain his BONNEMA persona for projects in other genres. For now, we’re just excited to have another hot house name on the radar.
