Hulaween’s 2022 Lineup Dazzles; Features Liquid Stranger, Fisher, Gigantic Nghtmre, & More

The Southeast’s prized festival gem, Suwanee Hulaween, just dropped its 2022 lineup today – and it’s dazzling from top to bottom. While known for its incredibly eclectic and diverse offerings annually, this Fall’s cultural affair will provide an undoubtedly rich and unforgettable experience.

Hulaween’s Spirit Lake is acclaimed as one of the foremost, immersive art experiences in American festival land. The natural space offers talented sculptors, fire/metal workers, painters, thespians, and lighting designers. Attendees can revel in lakefront projection mapping, hypnotizing light shows, interactive installations, and both visual and performance art, while catching performances at Spirit Lake’s two stages and Silent Disco.

Leading the bill is co-founding act and headlining mainstays since 2013’s inaugural event, The String Cheese Incident, who will as always provide multiple sets and themes throughout the weekend. Joining them will be a highly-touted mix of electronic, jam, and indie to bluegrass, funk, soul and hip-hop acts.

Six-time Grammy-Nominee’s Black Pumas are set to make their Hulaween debut, and are joined by fellow newcomers to Suwannee, Louis the Child. Alternative rock/indie band Rainbow Kitten Surprise will add some grit to 2022’s lineup, as will prominent Atlanta rapper and Dreamville alumnus, J.I.D.

Veteran live headliners returning to Hulaween include Portland’s award-winning Portugal. The Man, fan-favorite psychedelic band STS9, electronic pop duo Sylvan Esso, and prestigious jam-band, The Disco Biscuits.

Diving further into the electronic billing, Fisher returns to Hula as a certified headliner, as does French world bass star CloZee, who has now played several of stages at the festival. Following their recent sold out gig at The Brooklyn Mirage this past May, Gorgon City was also included in Friday’s announce.

Liquid Stranger will resurrect the energy he brought to the now-defunct Patch stage in 2017, this time leading a WAKAAN takeover to include Ravenscoon, Canabliss and more.

Rounding out the roster of electronic music talent are acts like industry-shaking powerhouse Aluna, electro-pop producer, singer/songwriter Elohim, multi-award-winning London artist Maya Jane Coles, multi-instrumentalist Mindchatter, genre-bending bass music act Of The Trees, bass experimentalist Opiuo, and many more.

After quickly selling out the blind pre-sale, Suwannee Hulaween tickets are now available to the public via https://suwanneehulaween.com/passes.
