Funk-Fed FOOLiE Releases Sci-Fi House EP “The Reason” on Rule’s Don’t Apply

Providing an eccentric style of science fiction-altered house music, West Coast-based FOOLiE released his latest three-track EP, The Reason through Walker & Royce’s label, Rules Don’t Apply.

The release admirably suits the idea of RDA as all three tracks are distinctive in their own way. Starting off with “The Reason,” the intro rides out with a muffled vocal with a catchy bass loop to captivate listeners. Progressively, the vocal hook intensifies, as well as, the heavy bassline, making the drop enticing and high-powered.

For “Milk & Honey,” high-tempo beats are immediately kicked off, while quirky and bouncy sounds bolster throughout the colossal riffs. Highlighting the signature energy of FOOLiE’s radiant Sci-Fi taste, the seductive build-up in “Freaky Freaky” drops into a pulsating and beaming bassline. With the synth stabs being stirringly hypnotic, the flirtatious vocals are the perfect touch for a proper dancefloor hit.
