EAZYBAKED Drop First Single of 2021, “Letting Go”
While EAZYBAKED have remained relatively quiet in 2021, the Orlando bass duo is ready to come through the New Year swinging. Yesterday, the grassroots bass fan fav’s dropped their first single of 2021, “Letting Go,” which is the first offering off of their upcoming, debut album.
Eric Ray and Andrew Principe’s bond dates back to grade school playgrounds. The two began making beats together daily in high school, working under the monikers ‘EAZY’ and ‘Mr. Baked.’ Recognizing their chemistry, Principe and Ray joined forces as one to become EAZYBAKED.
“Letting Go” is not only their first offering of 2021, but perhaps one of their most unique releases to date. The producers offer up a spacey soundscape and melodic drops, whereas previous releases have found them lashing fans with crunch, heavy sound design These more inspiring arrangements represent the next phase of these producers, who are looking to showcase the mature side of their project and themselves
“This song means exactly as it reads,” said EAZYBAKED. “Letting Go gives space to let the new in.”
The single artwork is designed by Rukucustoms, and depicts a strain of DNA made up of an elaborate array of items. The intertwining of ideas, emotions, and the overall blueprint of life are what the DNA stands for – conveying how the project represents the duo as a whole.
