Whenever traveling to a destination festival such as Cascade Equinox, it is always a treat to try out local cuisine and experience everything the area has to offer. We highly recommend that you stop in Bend Oregon and try the worldly, fusion restaurant Spork. 

With fantastic music all three days, and fun activities for the entire family, Cascade is a festival that truly cares about your experience. Dedicating an entire stage to being a roller rink, and having a full on kids area where you can drop the kiddos off with sober babysitters so the parents can go have some fun of their own. Although, once the sun goes down the experience changes a bit to more of what you would expect when expecting to let loose at a music festival.

Three amazing days of music

Cascade boasted an eclectic line up of music you might not see together anywhere else. To start off the day there were mostly jam bands and other live music. One stand out local act was Free Creatures. Besides supporting the local scene, Cascade brought world class acts to Oregon for an experience that will stick with you a lifetime. Acts we won’t soon forget were none other than CloZee, STS9, Liquid Stranger, Jungle, Ravenscoon, Deltron 3030, and Wreckno. But hands down the most memorable of the entire weekend was Marc Rebillet. 

CloZee starts Cascade Equinox off right

After a day of live music the crowd’s anticipation was building. They were ready for some bass. Then, CloZee takes the stage and transports us all to somewhere transcendent. With mesmerizing low end bass and driving yet delicate beats. The entire crowd couldn’t help but to move together almost as if one. If the music wasn’t enough, perfectly timed lights, video and lazers synced to the music to bring your experience to the next level. This is the top notch production Cascade Equinox is becoming known for. 

Marc Rebbilet is an act unlike any other

Seeing videos on the internet never compares to the real thing. This had never been more true than when Marc took the stage at Cascade. Our photographer, Phuckitphoto had the opportunity to help hand off a giant ejaculating disco dick to Marc, known as Urethra Franklin. Then Marc invited the owner of this amazing totem on stage to make an on the fly song about this hilarious situation. Next Marc continues to bring people from the crowd on stage. For sure the most crowd interaction of the entire weekend. From impromptu songs about waffles, celery and whatever else the crazy crowd brought with them. Marc kept everyone entertained from start to finish.   

Craft Cocktails, Microbrews, and great food

Yet another prime example of Cascade Equinox putting your experience first is having more than just your average overpriced festival food and drinks to offer. Of course, you can get a slice of pizza, but why not try dumplings, Fried Rice, Tom Ka, BBQ skewers, Peruvian, and even Greek foods. Looking for a drink? Head over to the craft cocktail lounge and try a refreshing margarita or paloma. Although, if you are more of a beer person there are many craft brews to try while you’re there.
