Elements Festival Leads the Way on Preparedness, Cultural Diversity [Fest Feature]
The entire festival industry was taken by storm in 2020, as large gathering were largely null and void due to the pandemic. Despite these barriers, Elements Music & Arts Festival made headlines last year by hosting a few hundred at two “open-air retreats.”
Dubbed ‘In My Elements’, these events provided safe, innovative measure for the brands fans to enjoy after its Memorial Day weekend event was forced to cancel. In My Elements offered safe, boutique festival experiences by enforcing a two-part COVID testing system, which required attendees to be tested ahead of the event, and then again when arriving onsite. Overall, they reported that no new cases of COVID from either event, and its successful guidelines offered inspiration as one of the first events back.
Where it Began
Elements Festival kicked off its annual Lakewood event in 2017. From its launch, it has provided a globally curated lineup featuring the best of house, techno, bass, jam electronic and everything in between. It’s previously been headlined by Tipper, Shpongle, REZZ and Disclosure. As a boutique fest, Elements offers fans a chance to experience globally renowned talent in an intimate setting, while also providing a fun Summer camp vibe for attendees.
Elements 2021 will feature GRiZ and TOKiMONSTA, in addition to headliners like Chris Lake, Diplo, Ganja White Night, CloZee and Claude VonStroke. Other notables include Walker & Royce, Rusko, Bob Moses and Yotto.
