Rhizome Music Launches With Manic Focus, 5AM Trio, Frameworks, Phyphr, and More

This week, two of electronic music’s most respected industry mainstays — Calhoun McDougall, who previously worked as an artist manager and record exec at at Mammoth Music Group and The Gradient Perspective, and Louis DeMarco, a seasoned production manager, stage manager, and artist liaison who has also worked as a merch road representative across the United States and Europe for major artists including Tyler the Creator, YG, The Kid Laroi, Atmosphere and others — announced the official launch of Rhizome Music: A full-scale artist management, event production, and promotion company with a focus on hybrid electronic dance experiences and genre-bending artists.

Rhizome Music’s electro funk-fueled includes several hybrid live/DJ acts like 5AM / 5AM Trio, Manic Focus, and Phyphr, in addition to several innovative artists in the bass and house music scene like Frameworks, Megan Hamilton, Murkury and PINEO & LOEB.

With a combined 20+ years of industry experience across the EDM and festival communities, McDougall and DeMarco plan to build Rhizome Music into a mainstay for high-caliber artists and events that never settle for the ordinary.

They are committed to not only achieving their goals but also to making a positive impact on the industry as a whole, leaving behind a legacy of meaningful change that transcends their individual contributions.

Their mission is simple: “Planting seeds to grow the Culture.” This means nourishing authentic connection in the increasingly complicated digital age.

With Sacred Acres’ annual sustainability-focused festival taking place in Alaska in 2025, and several Rhizome Music artists poised to drop massive project very soon, the future looks bright for this new endeavor.
