Sound Haven Strikes Again, Shines Light on Underground

The experimental experience that is Sound Haven returns for its grandest, third installment this July. Since its inception, the festival has moved from its location just outside of Nashville, Tennessee to it the spiritual oasis of Jaceland in Grueti-Laager, TN.

Sound Haven attendees and veterans have anxiously awaited its return since August of 2019. What is lined up to be the bass music Super Bowl of 2021, Sound Haven has found a way to capture the mainstream hype of experimental music while still keeping it a part of the underground

This year’s lineup features two unique sets of Mersv, one closing out on the main stage and one sunset downtempo performance. Other featured headliners include underground legends Jantsen and The Widdler, in addition to notable names such as Angelic Root, Mystic Grizzly, and Smoakland. This weekend will feature the debut of SuperAve., as well as one of the first opportunities to catch Tripp St play for a festival crowd. Women to watch out for on the lineup include Deep Dark and Dangerous queens Khiva and Notlö, plus anticipated sets from A Hundred Drums and Zen Selekta.
