WAKAAN Music Festival Unveils Electrifying Year Two Lineup
After taking two years off, WAKAAN Music Festival is calling festival goers back to Mulberry Mountain from September 28 to October 1 after dropping an electric, alphabetically-organized lineup that shines from top to bottom.
The brief hiatus has created an overwhelming level of excitement for fans all over as the anticipation for this lineup grew. After an absolutely epic first year, fans have been dreaming of how 2022’s lineup could possibly top year one. To no surprise, Liquid Stranger and the WAKAAN team showed everyone that they were back to do just that.
Leading the bill are veteran artists Of The Trees, Rusko, Mersiv, LSDREAM, Truth, and many more. With special projects such as LSDREAM’s Lightcode or the Of The Trees eclectic A/V project, fans will have countless opportunities to witness the many talents of the artists on the lineup.
As we dive a bit deeper into the festivals debut names, French phenomenon CloZee and bass experimentalist Opiou will be taking the stage alongside dubstep legends Ternion Sound and one-of-a-kind serenader Tiedye Ky. Rounding out the roster, psychedelic band STS9, as well as house sensation Claude Vonstroke’s bass project, Barclay Crenshaw are also featured for the weekend’s festivities.
Additionally, the festival will include an exhilarating pre-party including Liquid Stranger b2b LSDREAM, Notixx, Shlump, Minnesota, Ravenscoon, and Tape B. Not to mention, gripping stage takeovers with Deep Dark & Dangerous, MorFlo Records, GRL GANG, and Street Ritual.
The don himself Liquid Stranger will bring the whole mountain top together with not one, but two sets. As he said in an interview with MP3 MAG, “WAKAAN is a collective of artists that come together using a shared infrastructure and is so much more than just a record label.”
With the unbelievable lineup that was dropped today, we are seeing just that. No matter what sound you are into, WAKAAN Music Festival will be the perfect place to share great food, art, and banging bass in the early Fall.
