Giving us exactly what we need, multicultural DJ and producer Wakyin has teamed up with Grammy-nominated artist Bantu for the fresh and rhythmic afro house single, “Closer.” Out via Insomniac Records, “Closer” blends Dominican and Puerto Rican heritage, creating a vibrant and globally rhythmic track. Through grooving guitar riffs, atmospheric piano melodies, and shuffling percussion, you’ll be enthralled to dance by its driving four-of-the-floor kicks.

Bonobo — “Expander”
After getting played all summer on international stages at his legendary OUTLIER sets and debuting it at Glastonbury, Bonobo has finally released “Expander” to streaming platforms. The new single marks the producer’s first new release since early 2023 with the single “Fold,” marking a new chapter of creative endeavors. Paired with photos of a foggy and melancholy setting overlooking Mt. Wilson’s antennas and remote broadcast outposts in California, “Expander” is a bubbling dancefloor track, bursting with woodwind harmonies and frenzied synth hooks that mirror the electrical signals that seem to be all around us, constantly connecting and broadcasting information all throughout the world.

While it’s been two years since Fred Again.. dropped USB, the producer doesn’t see why there can’t be room to add more tracks to the album. The 2022 album that saw Fred Again.. team up with heavyweights Lil Yachty, Baby Keem, Skrillex, Four Tet, Flowdan, Swedish House Mafia, and Future, now just gained a 14th new track that is sure to be one of the biggest dance music remixes of the year. “flex fm (freddit)” is a mega mashup to Joy Orbison’s summer hit “flight fm” and Lil Yachty’s “Flex Up” anthem featuring Playboi Carti and Future. The two tracks flawlessly intercept each other, seeing the dance music and hiphop worlds collide in an epic fashion.
