MP3 MAG Joins Cervantes and River Beats for Beloved SHIFT Event Series
MP3 MAG is excited to announce the newest addition to our venue partnerships initiative: Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom and River Beats’ SHIFT Thursdays events.
SHIFT Thursdays, Cervantes’ weekly electronic and dance music event series, has become a staple in Dener’s ever-expanding dance music community since the inaugural event in August 2021.
Over the past three years, SHIFT’s lineup has included the hottest acts in dance music from across the world — including Super Future, Ahee, Jason Leech, Opiuo, Dreamers Delight and countless others.

“Selling out a Cervantes Ballroom show, especially a SHIFT show, is a rite of passage that many artists who are now headlining Red Rocks have celebrated on their path to stardom,” Evan Marks, the lead talent buyer for the SHIFT Thursday shows, said in a recent interview with UKF. “Promoters and agents from all over the country are taking notes about which artists are selling out shows in Denver. That includes SHIFT shows, so these events are taken very seriously from all sides.”
MP3 MAG will be selling physical copies of our annual print magazine, featuring editions that spotlight a variety of artists and stories from the North American festival community.
Currently, the venue is stocking Volume 1, which features Lab Group on the cover, and Volume 3, adorned by The String Cheese Incident. These collector’s editions are available for purchase at the venue’s merchandise booth at weekly SHIFT events.
Together, MP3 MAG, Cervantes, and River Beats are working together to nourish the beloved bass music community in The Mile High City through exclusive coverage and interviews featuring SHIFT headliners, specially curated events, and community-focused initiatives. Together, we’re supporting Denver’s status as the “bass capital of the world.”
