MP3 PREP: 5 Can’t Miss Activities Onboard The FriendShip 2024

As the festival season charges full steam ahead, the preparation for each event becomes a task in itself. Welcome to MP3 PREP, your ultimate guide to navigating the pulsating world of music festivals. Here’s what you need to know about the FriendShip 2024 cruise and music festival.

In less than two months, it’ll be time to set sail across the Caribbean as the beats of The FriendShip 2024 festival rock the boat all the way to Belize. When you combine a music festival with a state of the art, luxury cruise ship, you get five full days of action packed fun.

From live comedy and private island parties to an immersive Dial-A-Dj experience, this floating music festival offers tons of amenities that will keep attendees busy all night long. Here is a list of five activities that you must experience onboard The FriendShip 2024:

Comedy Show

It’s not a proper cruising experience without a comedy show, something The FriendShip is clearly aware of. This year’s live comedy show features Nick Thune — who’s appeared on Letterman and The Laugh Factory — and Martin Urbano — who’s currently a writer on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

As festival goers gather in this laughter-filled enclave, the comedians will provide a subtle getaway from the musical buzz on deck. This comedy club is not just a sideshow, but an important part of the festival cruise experience, so stay tuned to check out the schedule and showings!

Yo, listen, you hear that? That’s the sound of The FriendShip hosting a 24-hour private island party on Harvest Caye with the one and only, Skrillex.

For the first time in FriendShip history, this island party is going to extend overnight, providing attendees a full 24 hours of everything the island has to offer. With private villas, a massive pool, and a booming sound system, this is an event that you won’t want to miss.

Dial-A-DJ — It’s Like Room Service, but Better

This activity is quite unlike anything you have ever seen before. Imagine ordering room service, but for a DJ instead of food. Gary Richards, better known as Destructo — the mastermind behind The FriendShip festival — came up with the Dial-A-Dj concept a few years ago, and it’s genius. Cards are created and handed out to people through the cruise, where they are able to be redeemed by a phone call to have a private DJ sent to your stateroom! The Norwegian Joy is about to be the cruise ship that never sleeps.

Go Karting on the Ocean

Put your helmets on and let’s ride! The go-karting track stands out as one of the most thrilling activities onboard the ship. Positioned on the top floor of the deck, overlooking the open ocean, you and your friends can race each other at high speeds with an unbeatable backdrop. So get ready to feel the wind in your air as you navigate the twist and turns of the track under the sun.

Mandara Spa & Salon

While listening to music 24/7 aboard a cruise ship sounds like the most incredible time ever, it can definitely be taxing on your body. The FriendShip 2024 is not only a music festival, but also a vacation, so it’s important to take time to relax. Treat yourself to the resort and spa available on the cruise ship where you can get a massage while watching the ocean, a pedicure while sipping a mimosa, or rejuvenate your tired skin with a facial — all amidst the leisurely atmosphere of a cruise.

With an array of amenities and activities available on The FriendShip 2024, every moment on board is an opportunity for adventure, connection and memories that will last a lifetime. Stay tuned to MP3 MAG for more information on The FriendShip 2024!
