From October 10th – 13th we will all be celebrating music and art in Moreno Valley California. With over 60 acts on this stellar lineup there is enough music to keep you moving the entire four day extravaganza. For 12 years now Desert Daze has been bringing music lovers together in southern California for an unforgettable weekend. 1. Desert Daze Camping Experience is Unmatched
Desert Daze is camping festival focused on curating music and art in the physical realm for an interdimensional experience. Set upon a beautifully maintained state park, camping at Lake Perris has everything you need. There are hookups for motorhomes. 24 hour access to real showers to keep you fresh the entire festival. Fully functioning bathrooms cleaned daily, and drinking fountains to fill your water bottles and hydration packs. 2. Jack White Headlines Desert Daze 2024
Jack white, best known as the lead in the hit rock band The White Stripes amassed global popularity in the early 2000’s. Contributing to the success were the massive hits Seven Nation Army and Steady as She Goes. Additionally, Jack has released 6 solo studio albums. On top of all these achievements Jack boasts 12 Grammy awards and 36 award nominees. Jack White has been called “the coolest, weirdest and savviest rockstar of our time” in 2012 by The New York Times.
3. Desert Daze is 100 Gegs’ (Potentially) Last Show of 2024
Consisting of Dylan Brady and Laura Les, 100 Gecs is a musical duo from St Louis Missouri. Mixing elements from many genres to make something new, exciting and unique they take influences from pop punk, hyper pop, experimental pop, metal and even dubstep. In 2019 100 Gecs released their debut album 1000 Gecs leading to The New York Times saying it was “Some of the savviest pop music of the year.” On top of that Rolling Stone said 1000 Gecs was “One of 2019’s most exciting debuts.” Other notable achievements such as a Boiler Room set and a collab with Skrillex has led to big success for these groundbreaking musicians.
4. Marc Rebillet Brings a One of a Kind Experience to Desert Daze
Performing fully improvised live instrumentation Marc Rebillet has taken over the internet, and now he is taking the festival circuit by storm. Recently this powerhouse dubbed Loop Daddy has been playing massive stages such as Coachella and hitting major festivals across Europe. Marc has a unique fusion of house music, funk, experimental, with quirky and fun lyrics. This is a high energy set that is too good to pass up.
5. De La Soul Takes us Back to Hip Hop Classics
De La Soul has been massively influential to hip hop over all. With classic hits that everyone can get down to, it is great seeing De La Soul still out there performing. They are probably best known for their hit song Me Myself and I off of their monumental debut album 3 Feet High and Rising. This rap group has continued keeping hip hop alive and well into the 2000’s with their Grammy nominated 2016 album And the Anonymous Nobody.
