Skysia – “Older Spark”

The renowned downtempo electronic producer SKYSIA brings forth intentional sonics and feelings of the human state in his new album, Here. The 13-track collection spans a breathtaking array of melodic bass, modern downtempo, and elegant sound production for a spiritual and serene listening experience. The track “Older Spark” particularly stands out on the album as the producer transcends euphonious psychedelic bass rich in earthy textures, crisp percussion, and emotive tones.

SKYSIA debuted the new album alongside a feature-length film of the same name on April 28th at Los Angeles’ Ground Level Studios, taking listeners on a visual journey of life and the human experience. The film, titled Here: Memories Of A Soul, will be available for viewing to fans upon its official release next year.

Meduso – “Makin’ Dem”

Los Angeles-based electronic producer and designer Meduso has dropped his second single release of the year, “Makin’ Dem.” Fusing his rock and metal influences with his cutting-edge bass, the producer remixes SoDown’s reggae dub “Makin’ Dem” into a gritty dubstep and bass-shattering track. Meduso’s infusion of sound production gives the track a fresh and electrifying twist, putting him forth in a league of his own when it comes to bass music and psychedelic, heavy metal.
