Through today’s technology, venues, festivals, and DJs themselves can record mesmerizing sets with multiple drone and camera shots, and then upload them to YouTube so fans can witness the magic as if they were there in person.

20) Louis The Child (Pop Up Playground Set) – RECESS Chicago (5/23/24)

Everything about this set delivers good vibes. The venue looks like a blast, compounded with a Louis The Child Playground Set is a guaranteed fun time. It being a pop up is a cherry on top, as there’s few better experiences than randomly ending up at a DJ set you weren’t aware of until that morning.

This veteran duo took to the streets of Chicago to celebrate the release of their latest feel-good song, “Believe It” (with Madeon). They sprinkle in a ton of genres throughout this set, including their own future bass hits from the SoundCloud era like their remix of Ty Dolla $ign, Future, and Rae Sremmurd’s “Blasé.”


19) Samplifire | Live From Denver

In the dynamic bass music scene, France’s Samplifire (Samy Beyou) has emerged as a leading force in modern dubstep. Inspired by legends like Noisia, Rusko, and Skrillex, he began producing in high school, quickly gaining acclaim with releases on Never Say Die and Disciple, and collaborations with SVDDEN DEATH, Barely Alive, and Wooli.

Touring globally, including headline tours in North America, Samplifire’s 2023 tracks “Menticide” (with YAKZ) and “Firestorm” topped Beatport charts and dominated dubstep shows. So far this year and coming up, catch him at major festivals like Rampage and Beyond Wonderland, with more dates to be announced. This set is packed with nasty riddim chops and doubles. The crowd behind Samplifire is a ball of unrelenting energy.


18) Drum & Bass On The Bike – FRANKFURT

Dom Whiting’s ‘Drum & Bass On The Bike’ live set series has become a snowballing movement over the last few years. This unique experience bridges fitness with the fast-paced BPM of DnB. The talent that Dom possesses to seamlessly mix liquid DnB bangers while biking miles and miles throughout the streets of Frankfurt, Germany is unrivaled.

Hopefully Dom makes his way to the states at some point in the near future so he can bring the underground heaters to an enthusiastic mass of American bikers.


17) Sébastien Léger – Lost Miracle TV 04 (SUNRISE EDITION)

Sébastien Léger has taken an unorthodox approach to his musical career, resulting in a unique creative output. For over 20 years, he has adapted to the ever-changing face of dance music, thriving by staying true to himself and his abilities. Léger devotes all his emotions to his music, balancing self-entertainment with crowd engagement. Viewing his work as a hobby, he maintains a packed tour schedule, performing at top venues worldwide.

These qualities are heavily present throughout this vibe-filled sunrise set. If you are looking for a chill mix to repeatedly bob your head to, this is a must-listen-to performance. 16) MAU P Sunrise Dj Set @ Club Space Miami

Opening up this 3 hour and 47-minute journey across house music with Alex Culross’s “3AM,” this set is an auditory gem from start to finish. Mau Papi doesn’t play games when it comes to ripping an extended set in one of the pinnacle nightlife venues of Miami – Club Space.

Sometimes sets can get cluttered with background noise and overlapping audio stemming from the crowd; a component that Club Space deserves a round of applause for is that every one of the sets posted on its YouTube channel are of A1 quality. Throughout this performance, you will hear groovy anthems from the likes of Detlef, Jay de Lys, Damelo, and other praised house artists.


15) Disclosure b2b Mochakk at Cercle Festival 2024 (A380 Stage)

Experience the electrifying Disclosure b2b Mochakk set, live from the A380 stage at Cercle Festival 2024. Disclosure, the UK dance duo, blends deep house with UK garage and dancehall influences, collaborating with pop giants like Sam Smith and Lorde. Rising Brazilian talent Mochakk, known for his meticulous house productions infused with Brazilian music, skate, and hip-hop culture, joins them.

14) RAY VOLPE @ S2O Korea 2024 (FULL SET)

Ray Volpe’s first-ever performance in South Korea at S2O Festival was nothing short of monumental. As the sole dubstep act of the entire festival, Ray brought an unparalleled energy to the stage, leaving the crowd electrified. The immense enthusiasm from the South Korean audience made his debut unforgettable, showcasing the global reach and impact of the bass music scene.

13) Dr Fresch – Badlands, Calgary – Full Live Set

Holding it down bass house on this month’s countdown, Dr. Fresch is one of the top artists of all time when it comes to this subgenre of house music. As expected, he has the crowd fired up for his entire set. Complementing the raw energy coursing through each one of Dr. Fresch’s set, the excitement of the crowd, massiveness of the venue, and top-notch lighting and visual production are equally on point.

The doctor serves up a bunch of filthy rap-bass hybrid edits during this performance, such as A$AP Ferg’s “Plain Jane” and his flip of a classic, “Gangsta Gangsta” ft. Baby Eazy-E.


12) Taiki Nulight’s Genre-Bending 140 & UKG Set from DEF: Austin (SXSW)

Taiki Nulight is as iconic of an artist as DEF has become as an event promoter, both are killing the game in their respective lanes this year. Dishing out a nonstop rollercoaster ride of 140 and UKG, watch as the crowd goes bonkers to a flawless fusion of Sammy Virji, Hamdi, Skream, and a load of jaw-dropping IDs, originals, and edits from Taiki himself.

If you are digging the vibe of this set, you will most likely be a fan of Habstrakt’s Energetic Bass House Set from DEF: Austin (SXSW).


11) Chris Avantgarde at Seismic Spring 2024 | Full Set

German recording artist, DJ, producer, and composer, Chris Advantgarde, seamlessly blends his classically and jazz-trained multi-instrumentalist background into his work. Having produced and released numerous dance music records, Chris ventured into film, trailer, and video game music, while also writing and producing for major pop artists. His portfolio boasts original scores for video games, corporate commissions, and trailers, alongside pop album and single production credits.

10) Levity – Live Electric Forest 2024 Full Set

In 2023, Levity attended Electric Forest as fans but were asked to fill in for an artist whose flight got delayed with just a few hours’ notice. Thousands flocked to their impromptu set purely from hearing the music they were playing. That moment changed their lives and launched their career.

To commemorate this pivotal event, Levity collaborated with Electric Forest for a proper 1-year anniversary set, symbolizing their full-circle journey. Throughout this set, the trio dropped a bunch of ID remixes that had the crowd roaring, like their rendition of Britney Spears’ “Toxic.”


9) AYYBO @ ELECTRIC FOREST 2024

A cross-breed between minimal house and tech house, sprinkled with influences of jazz and piano-fueled melodies, AYYBO is one of the fastest-rising artists with his genre right now. He brought a surplus of vibes to this beautiful day at Electric Forest.

With not a single cloud in the sky and sun shining down on the energetic crowd, AYYBO throws down a nonstop of progression of certified bangers throughout this set, including his brand-new hit “Certified.” Additionally, he weaves in his funky originals like “Rizz” and “BASS GLIDE” with groovy edits of classics from artists such as Marvin Gaye.


8) Chris Luno – playing house music on the beach until people dance

A few weeks ago, legendary DJ and music curator Chris Luno transformed an impromptu setup on an ice cooler box into an uplifting deep house session at Clifton Beach in Cape Town, South Africa. As the sun set, his friends hosted a volleyball game, and a spontaneous dance party emerged as more people joined in.

Despite having only a small speaker, the atmosphere was electric. Chris announced that he will be sharing similar sessions on his Instagram stories. This beach set, featuring tracks by andhim, Franky Rizardo, Sebastien Leger, Anjunadeep, and Abracadabra, offers a perfect blend of deep, loungy, melodic, tech, funky, organic, and groovy house music to wind down, chill out, or get some work done.


7) EAST END DUBS at MUSIC ON FESTIVAL 2024 • AMSTERDAM

There are so many great sets from Music On 2024, for house music fans it is definitely worth checking nearly all of them out. If you are feeling the vibes and energy that these sets are bringing, then I’d reccomend even diving into sets from past years of Music On.

Other standout performances from this recent festival that were right on the cusp of making list is live mixes from Dennis Cruz, Marco Carola, and of course Cloonee from June’s countdown. East End Dubs is wizard behind the decks and will keep you locked in with underground and unreleased minimal house anthems across this set.


6) Korolova DJ set @sotrackboa 2024 | São Paulo | @beatport live

Korolova’s performance at Só Track Boa 2024 in São Paulo, Brazil, is an incredible showcase her signature melodic techno style. She captivated the audience with deep, emotive beats and vibrant melodies, creating a truly immersive experience.

Known for their powerful and emotional sonic resonance, this set seamlessly blends music and feeling, drawing listeners into a world where the two are inseparable. Get ready to here six reality-bending IDs, along with gripping melodic techno tunes like Korolova & Monophase’s “Reactive.” 


5) TWO LANES – Live from Málaga, Spain 2024

Sibling duo TWO LANES blends acoustic piano with analogue synthesizers and electronic beats, creating a signature sound that resonates globally. German brothers Leo and Rafa, raised in a musical family, followed distinct paths: Leo, a Juilliard-trained pianist, and Rafa, an electronic music enthusiast.

With support from BBC1, Sirius XM, and Triple J, and over 300 million streams, TWO LANES is a rising force across chill electronica and deep house. Giving way to a stunning backdrop, this set will take you places both visually and audibly. It is a solid pick for studying, meditation, or just relaxing at a setting like the beach or in a hammock.


4) ANOTR | Boiler Room: Milan

ANOTR has had a monumental acscension in the world of house music over the last few years. This kickstarted with the release of the chart-topping anthem “Relax My Eyes.”

That gem and many of their other infectious originals is sprinkled throughout this set. Boiler Room taking over Italy and ANOTR at the helm is an outstanding fit for the occasion. If you are looking for disco grooves to get your feet moving, then this is must-have set in your arsenal.


3) Simon Doty | Live from the Anjunakitchen

Canadian DJ and producer Simon Doty celebrates his new single with My Friend, “Tuxedo Park,” with a live melodic and progressive house DJ set from Anjunakitchen. Known for crafting club anthems, Simon Doty and My Friend’s latest track features a pulsating bassline, bold lead synths, and an echoing vocal sample, making it a summer club playlist essential.

Doty, acclaimed for his melodic and progressive house mastery, had a stellar 2023 with his debut album Universal Language, topping the iTunes Dance chart and receiving radio support from SiriusXM, BBC Radio 1, and DJs like Gorgon City and Diplo. His Anjunakitchen set has stellar energy and queues up a bunch of the LP’s tunes along with “Tuxedo Park.”


2) INZO – VISIONQUEST TOUR LIVE @ MISSION BALLROOM 4/20/24

Our top set in the realm of bass music for July, INZO is just as much as a guide into the sonic and visual unknown as he is an artist. These two roles are synonymous across INZO’s project, and highly present across his debut sold-out headline at Denver’s premier venue Mission Ballroom.

Everything about this set is spectactular. From the gifted mixing and song selection abiltiies of INZO to the remarkable stage design to the stacked array of lighting and lasers, this set will open new audiovisual doors that you never knew existed. The curated visuals throughout this performance will put you in a trance.


1) Keinemusik at Giza Pyramids 2024

For most fans of dance music, there was likely zero doubt that this set would land at the number 1 spot for July’s countdown. This two-plus hour set from Keinemusik, the historic trio of Rampa, &ME, and Adam Port, is filled to the brim with Afro and ethnic house anthems that will heal your mind, body, and spirit with their uplifting sonic nature.

Arguably the best setting on the planet for the overall sound of the set, Keinemusik takes us to the Pyramids Of Giza in Cairro, Egypt. The drone footage, sound quality, and lighting create a unprecedented experience for both attendees and YouTube viewers.
