Arizona-based cultural festival Gem & Jam blew us away with its Phase 1 lineup – including the likes of STS9, Liquid Stranger, Claude Vonstroke, Lotus, and CharlestheFirst.

Yesterday, the festival announced even more heat with a Phase 2 that included Shpongle, Mevlin Seals, Siren & Seer, Smokestack Lightning, and soul DJ Takimba.

Shpongle’s Simon Posford will G&J debut at the 14th annual event – with a special live “Simon Posford Live Set. Known for his shape-shifting mix of psychedelic, trance, and world music, Shpongle promises to create an immersive experience replete with kaleidoscopic visuals, backed by the festival’s scenic desert landscapes.

Dubbed the “Crown Jewel of the Southwest Festival Scene” by Huffington Post, Gem and Jam is unique offering for the Southwest festival community. Located on 640 acres and 20 miles south of Tucson, the Pima County Fairgrounds host-site is embedded into a stunning desert environment, which creates an expansive and magical setting.
