Life On Planets Releases Dreamcatcher EP on TOKiMONSTA’s Label
House music has seen a reinvigoration in recent years via progressive creatives seeking to fuse classic disco, soul, funk and R&B with modern electronic sensibilities meant to relate to dance floors everywhere.
Life on Planets is a fusion of R&B, soul, house, and conscious-driven lyricism that provides merit to connect with music lovers and dancefloors regardless of identity or genre. Life’s mission is to convey consciousness, love and peace–sprinkled over groovy tones and rhythms. His journey originated from hustling music on the streets to performing at nightclubs and festivals around the country.
On Friday, May 20, Life On Planets released his new Dreamcatcher EP on TOKiMONSTA’s Young Art Records. It’s the perfect culmination of deep house, hip hop, trap beats and more, dabbling in fantastical lyricism and perfect for a dance floor.
The EP itself takes us on a journey to seek the otherworldly. Life is a true storyteller, an artist as inspired by the myths of the astrological realm as much as the cold hard lessons he’s learned here on earth. Dreamcatcher sees him connect these narrative worlds seamlessly, navigating fantastical lyricism cut with hip hop influenced house beats ready for the dancefloor.
He just performed at Desert Hearts and at The Do LaB stage at Coachella, and is set to perform alongside Australian dance music legends Flight Facilities this summer. Stream the new EP below:
