At the inaugural WAKAAN Music Festival, Liquid Stranger announced the creative birth of SSKWAN, the sole brother label to WAKAAN that would be a home for downtempo and ambient electronic music. Through this duality in sound, the producer hoped to reflect the diverse yet harmonizing nature of humanity and the electronic music community in particular.

Throughout his two-decade-plus discography, Liquid Stranger has displayed a wide array of styles, inspirations, and interests, but perhaps some of his most beloved tracks of all time are the 2015-2016 releases, “Dissolve” and “Freefall.” To the delight of fans, Liquid Stranger revitalizes these ambient-leaning production arrangements throughout the 5-track Unity EP.

After selling out WAKAAN Music Festival in 2022, hosting three sold-out nights at Mission Ballroom (totaling 12,500 tickets), and noteworthy WAKAAN takeovers at Hulaween, Imagine Music Festival, Avant Gardner, and more, Liquid Stranger is in the position to create and do as he pleases.

Despite this dignified career position, Liquid Stranger appears to still graciously give back to his community by frequently releasing music and continuously upping the anty of what the WAKAAN community can do IRL.
