Late Night Radio — “Caught Up”

Colorado-based producer Late Night Radio has introduced his latest introspective masterpiece, Pocket Full Of Dreams. Out via Philos Records, the 10-track album sees the producer at his most vulnerable as he skillfully merges reflective rhythms and soul-inspired hip-hop beats, paying a testament to the producer’s thematic depth of life’s pursuit of dreams. “Caught Up” immediately grabbed our attention as a standout track on the album, as listeners are treated to 4:21 seconds of ethereal and inspiring vocal samples and glitchy bass.

Late Night Radio is in the midst of a 24-date fall and winter tour, which sees the producer make performance stops in Indianapolis, San Francisco, New Orleans, Grand Rapids, Chicago, and more through February.

Alison Wonderland, QUIX — “WAKE UP”

Babe, wake up! Alison Wonderland has dropped a new single titled, “WAKE UP.” Tapping New Zealand producer QUIX, the two producers push the boundaries of contemporary bass and trap music. Leading off with a quickened string symphony intro, the track quickly gains momentum with surges of poignant percussion and darkened bass throbs. The second half of the track brings in a new sound with eerie echoing soundscapes and whispered ghoulish vocals before picking up the pace again for a hard-hitting ending.

While spanning just six tracks, the album meticulously blends the likes of prog, space rock, techno, dub, and experimental electronic elements in a 45 minute one-of-a-kind listening experience. It’s a kaleidoscopic sound design that makes the band stand out, still almost 40 years since their debut album. As the last track on the album, “Burundi Spaceport” oversees sparkling synth work, edgy psychedelic guitar, and rhythmic flute arrangement. Sugar Nova — “Somebody To Love”

Denver-based electro-pop duo Sugar Nova reminds us of the constant desire for love in their new cover of Jefferson Airplane’s 1967 classic, “Somebody To Love.” The duo – comprised of Lotus’ Luke Miller and Raven Jane’s Rachel Eisenstat – remixed the iconic anthem into a sweltering deep house track. The track’s original echoing vocals get a level up thanks to Jay Lapp’s (Steel Wheel) harmonious vocals, making the track a must-play for dancefloors this fall, including their upcoming show at Boulder, CO’s Fox Theater on October 28.

Don Diablo, the future house maestro, adds his electrifying touch to Egzod & Maestro Chives‘ sensational track, “Royalty.” Released last Friday via NoCopyrightSounds, Don Diablo’s remix breathes new life into this iconic hit. With captivating pop vocals reminiscent of Sia and future house dance melodies, his transformative take complements Maestro Chives’ violin finesse and Egzod’s masterful composition.
