Odyssey Music Festival Unveils Phase One Lineup feat. Ternion Sound, Mija and more
One of central Florida’s favorite festivals is returning to St. Petersburg this fall for the third annual Odyssey Music Festival. Taking place on Oct 4th and 5th, the festival has plans to make this year’s installation bigger and better than ever before.
Odyssey Music Festival is expanding to a two-day event in St. Petersburg’s entrancing art district, now located at The Factory. Previously set against the scenic backdrop of Vinoy Park, this year’s festival will take full advantage of The Factory’s creative space to immerse attendees in its unique blend of art and cyberpunk culture.
“Our mission is to celebrate the rich tapestry of art and culture while providing a platform for artists to showcase their talents. This year, we are expanding to two days of festivities, featuring performances across two stages from 3pm to 12am each night.” -Thomas Greco, Founder and CEO
The phase one lineup for this year includes renowned artists such as Mija, Ternion Sound, and many more. Mija is set to headline the Rawsome Stage, which will feature house and techno music, while Ternion Sound will bring the festivities to the bass-heavy Wave Stage.
Both stages highlight the personal style and musical tastes of OMF’s founders, Christine Ngo and Thomas Greco. The Rawsome Stage is managed by Thomas Greco- better known as Dr. Greco– who also oversees Rawsome Events and record label. The Wave Stage is led by Christine Ngo, performing under the alias XTN, and features bass-heavy music with experimental and wave tunes.
One of the communities favorite elements of Odyssey Music Festival is their love and dedication to the local scene. In addition to headliners such as Mija and Ternion Sound, OMF has always used their event to give a platform to local artists that shape the electronic scene in Florida.
Some local acts to highlight on this year’s lineup are Jay Crusoe, who’s known for his distinct Latin house vibes, Sacred Snow, who is sure to bring the bass anywhere she goes, and Romeo, who is OMF’s favorite yearly resident who blows fans away every time he plays.
Whether you are exploring the art installations, enjoying delicious food from the food trucks, or shopping around the boutique vendors, it is bound to be a great time.
