Okeechobee Music Festival Announces PoWoW! Lineup Headlined by George Clinton & P-Funk

Florida’s pride and joy, Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival, announced the details today for its 5th ever PoWoW! all-star jam session. Previous years have included the likes of legends such as Snoop Dogg, Skrillex, and Miguel. 2022 will be no different in delivering one of the more epic moments at this year’s return to South Florida.

George Clinton & P-Funk are set to headline in 2022, and will share the stage with acclaimed bassist & songwriter MonoNeon and guitar prodigy Brandon “Taz” Niederaur. As has been the case in previous years, expect more special guests and collaborations from the cultural mix of the OMF lineup.

Considered one of the lead innovators of funk music, George Clinton will help forge another memorable experience with the festival’s first funk-themed PoWoW! This will be his second time appearing in “The Grove,” after performing at the festival in 2017. MonoNeon, one of the last artists to work with Prince, brings his soulful and experimental style to George Clinton & P-Funk’s musical flavor. Adding to the excitement, Clinton will be playing once again with Brandon “Taz” Niederaur for a musical reunion seven years in the making since they graced the stage in New Orleans when Niederaur was just 11 years old. Niederauer, now 18, has played with some of the biggest names in music including Lady Gaga, Jon Batiste, Stevie Nicks, and The Revivalists, among many others.

Megan Thee Stallion, Tame Impala, Rezz, and GRiZ lead the rest of the expansive lineup of multi-genre artists to perform at the upcoming five year anniversary of Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival. The beloved multi-genre music, art and camping festival will bring the tightly-knit OMF community together again for the fifth edition  to Southern Florida’s epicenter of music, immersive art, food and camping. GA and VIP ticket and camping packages are currently available for purchase at www.okeechobeefest.com
