Bleu Clair Releases Electrifying EP ‘New Age of House’
After an explosive year for the Indonesian-born artist, Bleu Clair continues to push the envelope of the electronic community with his most recent EP. Released on his imprint BLEU LABEL / MCMLXXXI, house music fans all over can be prepared to be swept off their feet with his newest EP, titled New Age of House.
This high-energy EP packs 5 songs that fit perfectly together like puzzle pieces. Included in this EP are some of his previously released singles such as “Aura” with Jargen, “Sand Dunes,” and “Killer Bee” featuring OOTORO and Chyra.
The melodic tech-house tune “Aura” is the first track on the EP and combines both hypnotic beats and captivating vocals from collaborator Jargen. Next up is “Sand Dunes.” This track brings the energy with futuristic synths as well as hypnotizing Middle Eastern-influenced sounds to create a vibe that is impossible to not dance to. “Killer Bee” follows with punchy house drums and booming basslines to really get you on your feet. This collaboration with OOTORO and Chyra makes this a stand-out tune in the collection.
The last 2 songs on the EP are new releases and really bring the project together as a whole. The fourth track on the EP is a collab with Dances With White Girls called “Peanut Butter.” This song displays unique piano progressions and a deep bass build-up to create a solid groove throughout the song. The last track is called “Love Capsule,” which provides the perfect contrast of captivating beats with flirty vocals to conclude the EP.
“New Age of House” perfectly packs everything you’d want in an EP and more. From the mesmerizing vocals to the funky bass, Bleu Clair has created yet again another masterpiece that has found its way deep into the house community. With a string of support from artists such as Skrillex, DJ Snake, AC Slater, Matroda, and more, there is no doubt that the sky’s the limit for Bleu Clair’s future in music.
