Okeechobee Music Festival to Celebrate 5-Year Anniversary in 2022 [News]

The Portal is opening once again, which signals the return of the beloved Okeechobee Music Festival.

Earlier today, Insomniac and Soundslinger made it official by announce ‘OMF’ will celebrate its fifth anniversary on March 3-6, 2022. Following the reemergence of festivals and lineups around the country, the news reaffirms that the festival and music industries are well on their way back.

After this long year, I couldn’t be more excited to return to Sunshine Grove and be back in nature with all my Okeechobee friends and fam,” said Pasquale Rotella, Founder and CEO of Insomniac Events. “This festival is all about music, camping out, and making s’mores while dancing in a jungle, grass fields, and on a beautiful beach. It was the last festival I attended before the pandemic hit so I can’t wait to be back!

Okeechobee Music Festival was founded in 2016, establishing itself as one of the premiere events in the Southeast for its masterful blend of music, culture and art. The fest is hosted in the Sunshine Grove, and expansive, magical patch of land south of Orlando, FL. OMF has featured more than 425 multi-genre performing artists, curated to feature the biggest acts in electronic music, rock & roll, funk, jam bands, hip-hop and more. At the center of the portal each year is a conscious effort to operate in a way that enables like-minded festival goers to come together and create lifelong memories and experiences that transcend beyond each OMF event.

A limited pre-sale for OMF begins this Thursday, June 3 at 12:00 PM EST. Visit www.okeechobeefest.com for more info.
