Decadence 2023 Announces Massive Lineup — Skrillex, Zeds Dead, John Summit and More
Decadence 2023, America’s largest NYE dance music festival, announced their massive phase 1 lineup yesterday. As usual, the lineup features EDM’s most celebrated DJs and producers across the spectrum of electronic music. From Skrillex to John Summit, there’s something for everyone.
We’re breaking this year’s lineup down by category. Let’s start with bass music & dubstep.
Bass Music & Dubstep
It’s clear that Decadence knows their audience — the festival, which takes place in Denver, Colorado (a city known widely as the “bass capital of the world”), definitely leaned into the Denver culture and fan favorites. Of course, Skrillex, Subtronics, Zeds Dead, and Ganja White Night, who all headlined and sold out the iconic Red Rocks Ampitheatre in 2023, represent the more mainstream star power in dubstep. And we can’t forget about Illenium, a Denver local who recently headlined the largest EDM show in American history at Denver’s Mile High Stadium in June.

Beyond that, we’ve got two Denver locals on the Decadence 2023 lineup: Of The Trees (who was featured the cover of our MP3 MAG print edition VOL. 2) and Mersiv, two artists who also sold out Red Rocks in 2023 as a result of their passionate fanbase and explosive live performances. Other bass and dubstep artists include Brondo, HOL!, Ray Volpe, Deathpact

House & Techno
House and techno music has made leaps and bounds in popularity in the post-pandemic world, thanks to artists like Fred Again.., John Summit, and Dom Dolla — something Decadence is clearly aware of.
In fact, some of the biggest house and techno artists in the entire world are on the Decadence 2023 lineup this year — including John Summit, Sofi Tukker, and Fisher. But the list goes on: Malaa, Sidepiece, Justin Jay, and long-time industry vets Cosmic Gate will also be making an appearance.
