Jam Legends Umphrey’s McGee to Replace Joe Russo’s Almost Dead at Hulaween

Due to unfortunate and unforseen circumstances, 2022 headliner Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will not be able to perform at this year’s sold-out Suwannee Hulaween. Instead, Hula veterans and jam band icons Umphrey’s McGee will fill in to provide their own experimental blend of rock, metal, funk, jazz, blues, reggae, electronic, folk and more.

Taking place Thursday, October 28 through Sunday, October 31 in Live Oak, FL, Hula will bring in over 100 of the most diverse live and electronic acts to Spirit of Suwannee Music Park. Since its inception in 2013, the Halloween-themed festival has evolved into one of the country’s leading cross-genre festivals, and this year looks to be one of its biggest yet.

For the eighth edition of the festival, Hulaween welcomes host band The String Cheese Incident for three nights along with headliners Skrillex, My Morning Jacket, Leon Bridges, Khruangbin, Zeds Dead (Deadbeats Takeover), Umphrey’s McGee, and Greensky Bluegrass. Hulaween offers five different stages for dancing: The Meadow Stage, The Hallows Stage, Amphitheater Stage, Spirit Lake Stage, and Campground Stage.

GA tickets have officially sold out, but you can find more info on the fest at suwanneehulaween.com.
