24) HI-LO B2B ELI BROWN LIVE AT ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL MIAMI 2024 [4K]
Every time these two artists come together, it is a special experience for music fans. Their sets are a thrilling clash of upbeat techno and dark underground basslines. Oliver Helden’s alias HI-LO is a great complement to Eli Brown’s hypnotic hit anthems like “Be The One.”
23) Nostalgix Live @ Ultra Music Festival Miami 2024
When it comes to the underrated artists on Ultra’s lineup, Nostalgix is definitely a sleeper. Her sexy style of bass house had the Live Stage going wild in the rain. Plus, with red braided pigtails and an all-white fit she had a dope get-up for her set.
22) Adam Beyer live from Megastructure at Ultra Music Festival Miami 2024
The crowd at the Megastructure was devastated when Adam Beyer’s set was canceled on Friday night. Seeing him up on stage after the announcement to leave, everyone roared and many even stayed around with prayers that the rain would pass quickly. The anticipation ended up being worth it for those who got to witness Adam queue up techno banger after techno banger to close out Sunday night.
21) MEMBA – ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL 2024 [FULL SUNDOWN SET]
MEMBA was a last-minute addition to the Ultra lineup, and attendees who saw them at the Live Stage could not be more thankful. They are at the forefront of sonic experimentation, and this duo showcased their unique melting pot of genres and sounds throughout their set.
20) REINIER ZONNEVELD LIVE @ ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL MIAMI 2024
Reinier Zonneveld, hailed as one of today’s top-selling and extensively backed techno producers, is presently making waves in the modern scene with his distinctive perspective on the genre. Revered for his dynamic live shows at prestigious festivals and clubs, his energetic sound is earning him a broad and dedicated fan base. Labelboss of Filth On Acid, he led a takeover of RESISTANCE’s M2 venue on top of delivering this prolific acid techno-fueled set at The Cove.
19) OLIVER HELDENS LIVE AT ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL MIAMI 2024 [4K]
As usual, Oliver was scheduled for the mainstage, where he played a mix of Helden anthems and HI-LO heaters. The amount of breathtaking mashups in this set is unparalleled. He fused Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise” with HI-LO’s “Paradise,” had a “Rumble” mashup, and even one that brought together a techno edit with Kx5 and Hayla’s “Escape.”
18) Joris Voorn b2b Kölsch live at Ultra Music Festival Miami 2024
Two of the biggest legends in both spaces of techno and trance, many of their tracks bridge these two genres together. One of the most anticipated B2Bs on Friday was canceled due to the rain. Luckily, they were slotted to a headlining set at RESISTANCE’s The Cove stage on Saturday, putting on a phenomal performance.
17) Disco Lines @ Ultra Miami Main Stage 2024
Disco Lines opened up the Main Stage in style on Sunday. If you did not make it in time, you most likely have a massive case of FOMO. His feel-good, housey anthems sound incredible through headphones and in the car, but there is nothing like experiencing them in person. His set encompassed a guest appearance from Ship Wrek, and of course his latest hit, “Disco Boy.”
16) DIMENSION @ ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL MIAMI 2024 | UMF
Robert Etheridge aka Dimension is one of the UK’s most innovative electronic music artists. Defined by a clear aesthetic that bleeds through into his music and imagery, Dimension has announced himself as one of the new wave of dance music headliners. He is responsible for helping put drum & bass on the map, delivering fast-paced tracks that roped in ravers from every corner of Bayfront Park.
15) MADDIX LIVE @ ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL MIAMI 2024 | A State Of Trance Stage
Maddix has proved to be an artist that deserves the main stage next year. Yet, it is hard to know if the main stage crowd can handle his level of aggressive techno that he weaves into every performance. Even just listening to the first two minutes of his set, makes it clear that he is at the top of his respective genre. Maddix’s energy is extremely contagious and it is always a delight to witness him in action.
14) ARTBAT LIVE @ ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL MIAMI 2024 | UMF
Artur and Batish, known as ARTBAT, dominate electronic music, hailed as Mixmag Stars of the Year and top-selling artists on Beatport. Hits like “Age of Love” (Rave Remix) and “Horizon,” plus collaborations with Monolink, Köslch, and more, cement their industry prowess. Their UPPERGROUND label promotes visionary artists globally. ARTBAT’s music transcends into fashion campaigns and digital platforms, captivating millions worldwide. Keeping this trend consistent, they captivated a midday Megastructure crowd that was overflowing due to everyone’s will to see their set.
13) TIËSTO – Live @ Ultra Music Festival 2024
Tiësto is a consistent Ultra performer, and for good reason. He always brings an infectious stage presence, sounds, and visuals. In line with this year’s set, Tiësto is a master of curating each festival performance to the specific venue and crowd in front of him. He blessed thousands of ravers from across the world with euphoric basslines as the rain began to fall.
12) Kasablanca – Live @ Ultra Music Festival Miami 2024
If you have yet to hear of Kasablanca, then it is time to broaden your musical horizons. This electronic-live hybrid duo conducts performances that are characterized by unique synthesizers, robotic analog distortion, and more, transporting their audience into the future of dance music. The Live Stage was the optimal platform to showcase this innovative pair.
11) Calvin Harris – Live at Ultra Music Festival Miami 2024
Despite some backlash geared towards Calvin Harris’s set, he is one of the GOATs of dance music, and there is no refuting his dominant career in the space. While the people who said it was underwhelming most likely wanted new-age rap and pop edits, Calvin’s set was an amazing, nostalgic experience, filled with flips of his own chart-topping releases.
10) Vintage Culture @ Resistance – Ultra Music Festival Miami 2024
Brazilian superstar Vintage Culture has been sweeping the global house and techno scene for over a decade. He had a nice balance of recent hits with funky basslines, while tossing in that heavier techno component to match the atmosphere of the RESISTANCE Megastructure.
9) ERIC PRYDZ LIVE @ ULTRA MIAMI 2024 MEGASTRUCTURE
HOLO has become a staple of the Ultra experience since Eric Prydz launched this premiere audiovisual spectacle. It is quite an anomaly to see an artist play all of his own music during his set. This is basically what Prydz did, blending a vast array of IDs and fan-favorties from his multiple aliases. The visuals took the crowd to an alternate universe, one where technology is advanced 10,000 years.
8) MARTIN GARRIX LIVE @ ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL MIAMI 2024
A trailblazing DJ-producer hybrid, Martin Garrix has reigned over the pop and electronic scenes with global headline performances and collaborations with stars like Dua Lipa and Khalid. Founder of STMPD RCRDS, his hits like “Animals” reshaped dance music. Anthemic tracks like “In The Name Of Love” and “Summer Days” showcase his evolving sound and enduring influence. He was striking the optimal balance between these and more thrilling house heaters during his set.
7) RL GRIME B2B KNOCK2 LIVE AT ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL MIAMI 2024
Trap music is still very much alive! Veteran RL Grime and breakout superstar Kncok2’s headlining B2B at the Worldwide Stage is the only evidence you need. They executed a high-energy fusion of innovative trap flips, dubstep, bass house, and other energetic genres as well. This was an unforgettable joint performance to be in the flesh for, but it is beyond satisfying to relive the magic and watch the video below.
6) ARMIN VAN BUUREN LIVE @ ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL MIAMI 2024
A historic artist across all music, Armin van Buuren recently release his 10th studio album, an incredible feat in his myriad of accomplishments. He weaved in some trance and techno songs from the project, but the highlight of his set was when he brought Jon Bon Jovi on stage. Even though Jon seemed to forget some of the lyrics, this was a special moment for Ultra-goers and shed light on the exponential growth that dance music has made in recent years.
5) ADRIATIQUE LIVE AT ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL MIAMI 2024
A staple act in the global melodic techno scene, this remarkable duo put on an incredible set at the RESISTANCE Megastructure on Saturday night. Their lighting and visuals had a warm red glow, which aligned nicely with the vibe of their set. Adriatique even worked in a dreamy edit of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s “Innerbloom,” that left the crowd shook.
4) ANDY C LIVE @ ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL MIAMI 2024 [4K]
Andy C and drum & bass are basically synonymous at this point. It was great to see such an upgraded representation at DnB. A regular at festivals across the states like Imagine, Andy C stepped up his game for Ultra. It is crucial to give praise to his MC, who was on point the entire set. He was spitting bars, getting the crowd involved, and added an awesome dyamic to Andy C’s performance.
3) HARDWELL LIVE AT ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL MIAMI 2024
Voted the world’s number one DJ in 2013 and 2014, Hardwell has clearly still got what drew so many fans to him 10 years ago. His set has already been watched over a million times. It marked a major comeback after his four-year hiatus from Ultra Miami. The sunset slot was primed for this gifted artist as he cranked up the volume and got the crowd amped for the nightime acts on Saturday.
2) SVDDEN DEATH LIVE @ ULTRA MIAMI 2024
On the bass side of Ultra, SVDDEN DEATH was the pinnacle performance of the weekend. He is known to always throw it down with haunting and hair-raising riddim but this was so electrifying and intense that the crowd did not have a chance to take a breath. Drop after drop, he unleashed a barrage of bangers, relentlessly taking control of his audience like a hive mind, and tossing headbangers left and right.
1) Wade @ Ultra Music Festival Miami 2024 – The Cove
If you are not a house head, you may think this is a biased pick for the #1 spot. Watch Wade’s set and you will quickly learn why this performance was the cream of the crop at UMF 2024. The Spanish tech house phenom mixed a variety of groovy edits and prolific IDs. The technical abilities that he used during his buildups were flawless and left the crowd shocked in the best way possible.
