Maddy O’Neal & Marvel Years Tag Team New Single, “Don’t Stop”

Electronica darling Maddy O’Neal and multi-instrumentalist Marvel Years have electrified the electronic community with good times and flavorful, energized electronic music. Amidst their joint-tour, the versatile producers have released their latest collab, “Don’t Stop ft. Lummingbird.”

Since 2016, Maddy O’Neal has caught the eyes and ears of music fans around the world via tastefully versatile production and mixing. Hailing from Denver, Colorado, O’Neal has carved out her own niche in the always changing and very diverse electronic music landscape. Maddy’s family roots in rock n’ roll, in addition to a growing appetite for old-school hip-hop, has helped her sound stand out amongst live music goers.

“We actually started “Don’t Stop” mid-pandemic, but recently put the finishing touches on it,” said Maddy O’Neal. “The track feels very fitting because we’ve been on this journey together since the very beginning of our careers. Lydia, the vocalist, was the final piece of the song we were missing, adding her Nina Simone-style vibe to the track. It’s a really rad blend of both Cory and I’s signature sounds bouncing off each other the entire song.”

Maddy O’Neal has played Electric Forest, Camp Bisco, Summer Camp, Summer Meltdown, Red Rocks (x3) and many more. Her touring resume is long and accomplished by supporting such artists as Pretty Lights, Big Gigantic, The Floozies, Cherub, SunSquabi, Manic Focus, Russ Liquid and more. O’Neal first went on tour with Marvel Years in 2013, and the two have remained close friends since.

Cory Wythe, the producer and guitarist better known as Marvel Years, artfully blends electronic beats and shredding soulful guitar on his original tracks and remixes creating a sound that is a unique hybrid of EDM – fusing glitch, retro-funk, classic rock, soul, jazz and hip-hop.

“After our first collaboration “Viral Love” in 2018, Maddy and I are excited to present our new collab “Don’t Stop,” said Marvel Years. “Maddy sent me this track in the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, and after the first listen I knew we had something special in the works. We’ve both been friends for years and gotten to learn and admire each other’s creative process, so getting to work on this track together was a ton of fun.”

Maddy O’Neal & Marvel Years have been back and busy on tour since the reopening of US festivals and clubs, and will hit the road this Fall across America. Find more info below.
