Sharlitz Web – “Far Away”

Since making her WAKAAN and SSKWAN debut in 2021, Sharlitz Web has been weaving her bass-fueled sound production through the electronic community. Now, she’s out with a four-track WAKAAN EP, Plexured Minds, where she intertwines intricate elements of downtempo beats and complex basslines. The EP’s closing track “Far Away” weaves a beautiful sonic palette of ethereal vocals, downtempo, low-end frequencies, and surging bass to lift fans out of the dark webs of their minds into a lightened ending to the four-track body of work.

Sharlitz Web will perform her intricate bass compositions this summer as she hits Lightning in a Bottle Festival, Sunset Music Festival, and more.

Super Duper – “Sun Haven”

Nashville rising star Super Duper has released his latest double single, “Growing Pains” and “Sun Haven.” The latter adds a pep to your step as the producer blends a gorgeous arrangement of upbeat golden sound production, cheeky vocal samples, and enchanting ambiances that bring forth feelings of a brighter tomorrow and future, all while gracefully examining the challenges and joys that come with balancing life’s relationships. The two singles showcase the producer’s unique vintage sample infusion with today’s modern production style as he continues to produce powerful electronic pop compositions.

The two singles come following a solid first half of the year full of single releases, many of which will be included on the producer’s forthcoming album, due out later this year.

Opiuo, Ashez – “Bash Plate”

Coming out of the woodwork since last year’s full-length LP, A Shape Of Sound, Opiuo has tapped Ashez for his first new single release, “Bash Plate.” As the name implies, the track winds up a staccato melody into a midtempo anthem full of crashing bass and surging synths that perfectly blend the two producer’s signature production styles together. The new single also serves as the anthem to Opiuo’s upcoming Red Rocks headlining performance later this month.

Carlita, Andhim – “Life

Turkish-Italian multi-instrumentalist and rising music icon Carlita has teamed up with German DJ and production duo, Andhim, to release their debut collaborative track, ‘Life.’ The euphoric single will be followed by the release of their full EP, also titled ‘Life,’ via DJ Tennis’s Life and Death imprint on May 12. Blending Carlita’s eclectic versatility with Andhim’s signature ‘super house’ sound, ‘Life’ is a skillfully crafted emotive soundscape that takes listeners on an uplifting sonic journey. Drawing inspiration from a plethora of musical genres, Carlita’s musical prowess shines through on this unique and powerful track. —Franz Hilberath
