Skysia and illoh Release ‘Fragments,’ a Timeless Design of Ethereal Bass

Carrying the torch for the next generation of organic bass, Denver-based producers Skysia and illoh effortlessly fuse ethereal soundscapes in their latest release, “Fragments.” The single is a tasteful track composed of nature-inspired melodies and earthy-toned frequencies, popular amongst the modern downtempo electronic producer.

Producer and composer Tanner Allen, Skysia, developed a harmonious production process, incorporating his personal, spiritual, and musical journey into one cohesive project. Formerly based in Southern California, Skysia lives and works in a converted bus—complete with a mobile studio. His dedication to an immersive lifestyle has unveiled a translucent sound quality and naturally serene studio design.

Denver local producer and musician, Alec Hollingsworth began his career as a bass guitarist, experimenting with the amplitude of lower frequency channels. After shifting his focus to electronic-bass production, his DJ alias, illoh, combined his instrumental roots to follow a similarly downtempo sound design, synthesizing the classic elements of old-school dubstep, R&B, and hip hop.

“Fragments” is an inspiring impression of both artists and their combined experiences. The single incorporates delicate vocals, ethereal melodies, and decisive bass drops— heavily influenced by the original soundscapes of acclaimed electronic artists CharlestheFirst and CloZee.
